ABOUT US

Wind + Sail was born out of a question…

How do we scale the transformational change that develops through individual coaching to communities of leaders in organizations?

When leaders learn and grow together, they positively shift together, creating waves with organizational reach.

In 2018, we began working on offerings that answered this call. Knowing that true leadership is as much about being as it is about doing, we set out to create unique leadership development experiences that put people to work building the skills of leadership - the hard and soft. Both types of skills are teachable, learnable, and necessary. Our results prove it.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS

From the time we first met in 2015 at Georgetown University’s program for Transformational Leadership Coaching, we have been respected colleagues and friends. We are passionate about our work and love partnering with our clients to become more evolved, mindful and skillful. We are obsessed with learning about our fields of expertise. Our own lives are used as laboratories to practice everything we teach. This is the work we’re meant to do in the world, and we’re better together. Learn more about us and our growing team below.

“As a company we wanted to give our employees and managers a chance to stretch, grow and refine their leadership skills. Insert L6 here! Each module builds a foundation for the next. From the very first session there was an obvious and visible shift in the room by the end of the day. At the beginning we had a few people in the room who were clearly a little skeptical, but as Amanda and Katrina worked through the material, everyone relaxed and recognized they shared similar management challenges. Throughout L6 our leaders became a bonded cohort that supported and leaned on each other. Was amazing to see in action! L6 layers in both tactical strategies and solutions as well as personal awareness, reflection and 1:1 coaching for a very well rounded program. We’ve just embarked on our second class with a new set of managers and leaders, and I can’t wait to watch the changes unfold with this group!”

Catrona Pacheco, Chief People Officer
